On September 10, 2013, the Novak Djokovic Foundation hold its second annual New York Dinner. Taking place at Capitale, in New York City, the event included a red carpet press-line and cocktail reception followed by a seated dinner with a program featuring performances and an exciting live auction. The event will raise funds for the Novak Djokovic Foundation, a charity whose mission is to help alleviate the suffering of children, especially in Novak Djokovic’s native Serbia. The Novak Djokovic Foundation New York Dinner was a major media event; the foundation’s past two benefits were covered by numerous international press outlets both in print and online.
That was an incredible night since it was an unique occasion where sports meets fashion and humanitarian action. Serbian people have plenty of reasons to be proud of the best tennis player on the world, and not just that, he is also great person that stands out as the biggest pride of Serbian people and country. His humanitarian event was supported by many famous and iconic names such as Ana Wintour, Naomi Campbell, Adriana Lima, Donna Karan, John McEnroe, Candice Swanepoel, Leonardo DiCaprio, Justin Timberlake and his wife Jessica Biel and many other famous names.
